NeuHR 3.0.3 introduces new tools for attendance management, multi-location teams, and payroll processing, alongside improvements to leave calculations, payslips, and appraisal workflows.
Here are some of the key updates in this release.
Geofencing for Employee Attendance
NeuHR now supports geofencing for attendance, giving administrators greater control over where employees can clock in and out.
Admins can configure geofence rules, set shift limits, and manage location pins based on their organisation’s attendance requirements.
Approvers can also review proof images when checking employee clock-in locations, providing additional context when reviewing attendance records.
Support for Multiple Work Locations
Companies can now create and manage multiple work locations in NeuHR and assign them to employees.
A location search function has also been added to the location picker, making it easier to find and configure workplaces for teams operating across different sites.
Together with geofencing, this gives businesses more flexibility when managing attendance across offices, outlets, or other work locations.
More Flexible Payroll Exports
WIthin NeuHR’s Payroll system, administrators can now select specific employees when generating:
- CPF files
- EPF files
- SOCSO files
- PCB files
- Bank files
- Payslip downloads
CPF online submissions have also been improved, allowing users to see which employees are included in each submission while preventing duplicate filings.
For Singapore payroll, organisations can now set custom SHG contribution amounts by fund and employee.
Malaysia payroll reports also include a new Actual Gross column to support payroll reporting and compliance requirements.
More Accurate Leave and Payslip Calculations
NeuHR 3.0.3 includes several improvements to leave and payroll calculations.
Leave proration, unpaid leave deductions, and half-day leave calculations have been updated to better account for different work patterns.
Payslip calculations have also been improved. Net pay now recalculates correctly after pay items are edited, while manually entered CPF and statutory contribution values are preserved when payslips are updated.
The release also fixes an issue where unpaid leave could be deducted twice from ordinary wages in Malaysia payroll.
Improved Leave and Off-In-Lieu Management
Leave and approval history now include search, filters, and pagination, making it easier to review previous applications.
Off-In-Lieu balance history has also been improved with a new breakdown view showing how each accrual was used.
When editing Off-In-Lieu applications, approvers can now see the applicant’s public holidays for additional context.
A Smoother Appraisal Experience
Appraisal forms now include step navigation to make longer forms easier to complete.
NeuHR will also automatically save appraisal progress every 30 seconds and display the most recent save time, helping reduce the risk of losing work while completing an appraisal.
Additional Improvements
NeuHR 3.0.3 also introduces improvements across employee documents, company settings, payroll workflows, and permissions.
These include faster leave history loading, clearer error messages, improved employee form organisation, better document table sorting, and tighter restrictions around company and department data.
